Just to say the phone recepton here is poor and trying to keep you guys updated via the phone is nigh on impossible

Awesome weather awesome Pilots, everyone is sunburnt. We all joined in a big BBQ on the airshow showline tonight so all fed and happy.

Flying commences around 9.30 for the finalists on zeroed scores on Sunday

So 30 flights + victory flights to go

Remember RC heli nations Asid will be in the House tomorrow. Dan cameras are at the ready Lol

I have to say guys, there was some fantastic flying here!

The guys flying in the comp put on a great show and there was some truly awe inspiring flying from all the groups!

We had mat the splat, edders, rob turnbull and pete ayriss doing a couple of 450 displays on the 3DS flightline which were absolutely brilliant (the team auto with these tiny heli's is an absolute must see and the carnage when they dont quite come off is spectacular!!)

We also had Rob, Jase and Pete doing a Display on the main Airshow runway with the usual shouts of lower encouraged by Edders on the PA which ended most spectacularly with a blade stop Auto from Jase which didnt quite come off - although the resulting rebuild took about 2 hours including replacing the side frames which was even more impressive! He did do a blade stop in his freestyle which he nailed perfectly!

All in all its been an awesome day and I for one can't wait to see some of the flying tomorrow if today is anything to go by!!!
