    3DS Update

Hi, guys not long to go now. We still have a small number of spaces available for anyone yet undecided but be quick. Entry can be made via the 3DS website here 3D Scotland Home

On Friday the fun-fly will kick off around 12.00am. Just a reminder that proof of insurance is required no exceptions.

For the Competition itself we have some very talented Pilots in the top flight and a nice mix through the rest of the field so looking to be a very exciting weekend. One very Important Note for the Competition pilots on Saturday/Sunday. ALL pilots must attend the Main Air-show Pilots Brief at 9.00am.

    Judging Format Update
We have decided to adopt a traditional judging format that many will be familiar with instead of the original peer judging system.
There are a few reasons for this but mainly it is because that is what you, our competitors wanted. We have listened and are pleased to say it has now been put in place. The format now consists of 3 full time judges in all classes as per the norm in other competitions.
The upside to this means more time for you to enjoy the Air-show and the 3DS event.

    For Sat Navs
    Castle Kennedy Airfield,
    Stair Estates
    Stranraer,
    DG9 8BX

Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond our control we have had to limit the fun-fly to Pilots who are registered to compete. Nothing to prevent you entering though and flying Friday/Saturday. Bit of a bummer not getting the day off though.

We have the Scottish Heli Nats shortly in Aberdeen so maybe you can sort somethimg out for them? Rumour is they are looking at trying F3N as well as the usual FAI

            cheers Brian
