When Paul told me entry was free, Like a true Scot, I had to enter :P

Well I fancy my chances at being able to complete at least one lazy 8 and might stretch to a nose in hover

Looking forward to meeting a few from here there, watching and learning from a variety of flyers and having a great weekend. B&B booked, time in diary blocked off

              See you all there

PS, If Asid is flying an ELYq then stand well back and watch out for exploding heads Hes not so lucky with the feathering shafts it seems

dashik, if people are jarring you for your "limited" routine can you please remind them of a few things on behalf of the 3DS crew-

                          1. the event is NOT intended to show off your abilities.

                          2. there are spaces left if your club mates feel they want to follow your lead and take part.

                          3. the idea is to make YOU reach a level YOU want. we are just as interested in helping someone potter around a little better or try to help get to the other major comps if you so desire. all we care about is pushing the standard to a level the pilot would like.

if you can only fly 2 manouvers then the next time we'll get you a full routine, thats what it is all about........progress. kudos for taking part anyway and it WILL help your flying.

                          cheers

Just booked our rooms for this event.

                              Friday and Saturday night.

                              Chlenry Farmhouse
                              Castle Kennedy
                              Stranraer
                              Dumfries and Galloway
                              DG9 8SL

The landlady says she can see the airfield from her premises so all looking good for the Stainburn crew..

Another pilot called James Laird is staying in the same spot, anyone know who James Laird is.??
