Stunning pictures and looks like you had a great day out as well!

Currently looking to scale one of my Vibe 50's BUT the boom is 4cm longer than the Century Bell 222 Boom tail from main shaft to out put shaft

Century kit is 79cm from main mast to tail out put shaft
Vibe 50 is 83cm from main shaft to tail out put shaft.

do I take a Gamble... and say sod it any way and get the body....

Bodies for the JR heli's seem to be thin on the ground. As well as the boom length, how is the height of the airframe and, especially, the position of the boom. The bell 222 is quite a narrow fus and even the Trex600 is a tight fit. I think the reason the MD500 is such a common fus is because it can be adapted for most airframes.
Depending on how much you want the model to look like the real thing, 4cm is not that big a deal. From experience, most of your fellow pilots will not notice it.

There are some pictures posted on the EMHC web site which I took during the day. Follow this link Pictures.

Currently there are three pages of photos, just use the pull down tab. I will be adding a detail page of Len's Scout when I get some time. At present the tab for that page is not working, sorry.

if the boom is to long shorten it and shorten the torque tube by the same amount
and then the end cap on the 222 will fit on

BUT dry fit the heli lining up the mainshaft in the correct position first before you cut anything
