Would like to say a massive thk you to north notts for hosting this event and as always it was a blast and meeting up with new and old members alike .... the night flying as always was spectacular with Jase Platts going above and beyond with the new fast lads tool kit ... gluegun/hammer and soldering iron lmao .... Thank you all for a wonderful 2 days even if I did not fly that much myself it was always nice to watch the likes of Rob T, Steven G, Mike E, Pete A, Lee B, Matt W and a whole host of other pilots .. The Rob and Mike show never fails to amaze with 4 piloted by Pete, Mike ,Rob and Lee with 450 size heli's flying around like nutters .Well until a 700 decided to go over the flight path lmao ....All in all a brilliant weekend and would recommend it to everyone to get here ass to this one ... Oh and if ya wonder what happens on a night time at these events ... heres one Jase Platts prepared earlier lmao..

Fantastic event and really enjoyed the day.

Meeting up with old and new friends is always nice and the flying as usual was top drawer stuff from everyone.

Big thanks to Fastlads for organising such a great event with more raffle prizes than ever.

Pity Matt Gill (thekidfrankie) won everything on show but hey / You spend the money you win the prizes... Well done Matt your a credit to this hobby.

Also met Stu all the way from Glasgow, Great fella nice meeting you mate.

And last but not least congrats to Moysboy on passing his "B" test in quite gusty conditions. Well done mate.

                Everyone,

Big thanks to you all for hosting us and it was fantastic to get to know everyone :-)

Great to meet you Busterboy, Bren, Ian, Charlotte, Matt, etc, and everyone else! Hopefully catch up with you all at Tewkesbury (3DC)

Nightflying in zero cloud and zero wind at 1am was superb! Only once a year you would ever have the opportunity to do that.

Im still in Blyth at the moment, going by Fast Lads to get skinned in the morning!

Great weekend away :-) Ill be back next year with bells on

                Stu

A thanks from me to the North Notts members for organising a fantastic weekend and a great bbq.. Once again i catch up with the usual suspects (and it is always a pleasure) and meet some new members of this forum in the flesh and put more faces to a names..

Seen night flying for the first time in real life and it's awesome!! Fri night with probably the brightest led setup you'll ever see (courtesy of Jase Platts, and the only working heli that night) and some more amazing machines on the saturday night especially Pete's 600 (the bladeless heli!)

Not forgetting the day flights, some amazing flying and fantastic displays..

Thank you so much guys for a very memorable and fun weekend.. I really enjoyed my time.. And learned a few new things along the way

                  Cheers,

My third time at the north Notts fly-in. Its always a good get together.
...and the timing avoids what have become the UK monsoon "summer" months!

                      Great fun as ever
Saturday was superb with the weather being lovely too.
Saturday night was a superb laugh-a-minute
Felt a bit out of sorts on Sunday so didn't really fly much personally, but there was some stunning flying from the usual suspects
I have some video to sort out... when I get a chance!
Always a pleasure catching up with mates from all over the place!

Congratulations on your B Gordon! Tough conditions to do that in... well done!

3D Champs in 10 days... eek!

Another superb gettogether at North Notts. The time and effort that goes into putting together that event must be immense, especially to ensure it runs so sweet. Great to see so many people there too (and finally meet busterboy from here!)

Some superb flights from people I aint seen before such as Peter Ayriss and Matt Long (sorry if spelling is incorrect). Stefan Simmons also gave another set of stirling performances with his old trusty Raptor. Pleased Gerrard (not married yet I`m told) turned up to show everyone how it is done and the weekend would not be complete without the usual high level performances from Andy Hornyflybarlessyak!! (That 700 will never be the same again)

                        Loveeeedddd it!!

Hope we get the Friday and Saturday weather we had at North Notts for the champs! Now just need to pick up the pace at practice as competition is going to be very high this year
