Lighten up Tosh; the guy said he and the team were tired. From your POV does that mean that everyone else can't feel drained etc? Not the poor feckers who spend hours every day driving lorries, people down sewers doing whatever they do down there, builders, manual labourers etc?

I fully agree that there is no comparison between being a serviceman on tour to pretty much any other job...but you made that comparison, not him, so a cheap shot I think.

Although F3C is not my cup of tea l have enjoued following your very good coverage of this event right up to the point you said that. You and the boys have been out there flying toy helis while we have many guys (and girls) out in lrac and Afganistan who may well be drained and tired after a gruelling time on tour. May be its time for a reality check here.
