  • Midland Helicopter Club Fly-in

    Midland Helicopter Club (formerly known as NMHC) will be running 2 fly-ins this year on the following dates;
    14th June - Open fly-in

    26th July - Scale fly-in

    This will be at our field at Warton village near Tamworth, Staffs.

    We are in the process of putting down an access road which will be completed well before these dates, so there will be no problem getting on/off the field whatever the weather throws at us.

    There will be all the usual facilities, food, camping and a raffle of course and you are all very welcome to join us on the day. Entrance will be the normal £3 and all pilots must show proof of BMFA insurance.
    We hope to see many of you there and that we get our customary dry/sunny weather you have all come to expect.

    For more visit http://www.midlandhelicopterclub.org.uk
    Cheers
    Dean

            Well we are in the middle of nowhere, but if you go on our site www.midlandhelicopterclub.org.uk and click the Events tab, you can download directions and we will sign post it on the day. The directions also have the grid ref of the field if your Tom Tom will take that. However, it is easy enough for recent new members to find off the directions alone, so with the added signposts we are putting up you will find us no worries I promise.

            cheers

                    darrens you should have told dave if he's daft enough to get married he should at least do it in the winter, a summer wedding spoils heli flying time

                      And the breakfast van will be cooking by 9am. Rather than charge for camping, we are going to wave the collection tin by for the air ambulance so don't forget some change....actually, it will take notes!!!! LOL
