I definitely want to go watch this year. I'd like to drive and take a a Heli along and get a few days of flying in at the same time, but it might be simpler just to get a flight.
    Anyone else going?

Are you wild camping Rachel? If I drive the camper over, it would be nice to stay somewhere near.

Camping is not allowed on site unfortunately.
But there are several camping VERY near by: GLOBAL3D
Also a parking about 100m from the field where can stay during the night without permission, but with no facilities.

Thanks for the site link. I'm seeing who wants to go from MK, and then we can figure the logistics out.

Nice. The "other" Kyle flying the competition this year. I don't think he's competed for a coupel of years. Vbar is still dominant, but at least there's an Ikon/Brain pilot in the list this time.

I think Kenny Ko will win again. Dudes a robot. Kan Poonoi and either Mirko Cessena or CD in positions 2, 3 and 4 in some order.

My fave to watch: Robin Lipke. He's just pure class, and appears he'll be flying the Glogo in the comp.

Surprised to see Aaron Cole isn't in the masters class, so he might have a shot at first in Experts.
Current fleet: Goblin Thunder Sport (700), Trex 700L, Logo 600, Specter 700, Henseleit TDR, V-Baaa control.
Next heli: I have pretty much everything I want. Maybe I'll upgrade some electronics or something.

Well, I picked three of the top 4 in the wrong order, and Mirko didn't turn up.

Kenny Ko didn't win, but CD did. I've been watching him since the good old days, when they used to have the event live streamed. He was about 11 flying in expert class with Gaui.

Let's be honest. This is what the rest were up against. No wonder he won.

I heard Kyle Stacy say he does about 40 flights a day. That's even more than chrisleematt21!
