HeliFest 2015 - Pilot Entry

Hi Everyone,
I hope everyone has had a great season opener at Charmouth this weekend - lets hope the weather continues to shine for the rest of the season!

Pilot entry to HeliFest UK Competition and Open Funfly will be opening at 10.00pm tonight at HELIFEST | UK's Premier RC Helicopter Events
We had almost 100 pilots turn up last year, and look forward to seeing you all again.

We have the sports category which is aimed at the Grass Roots level pilots and a little beyond all flying abilities are welcome!

the grass roots pilots can enter the sport class, give it a go why not ?

One thing I did wonder,it says you've got to have a B for the intermediate class but not for the sports class, so I entered the sports class because I don't have a B

Hi Dave,
we will reviewany flight videos and make a judgement from there. It is possible to fly without a B cert for higher levels after we've confirmed that your flying ability is enough for the class you have applied for. You will need a caller with a Bcert standing with you whilst flying

Superb event unfortunately for the first time ever Im going to miss the whole weekend as Im away ! Gutted to say the least !

Good luck to all the pilots entering Im sure wherever you come it will be worth the effort, and most of all the fun side of it !
