Hi - I managed to get 3 hours to look around this years Intermodellbau Model show held at the Messe Westfalenhallen in Dortmund Germany.
I was in Germany with work and as luck would have it I was able to give myself some time to check out the show.
Of course I headed straight to the Heli Hall and checked out all the choppers on show - but the size of the show was humongeous and had everything you could think off to do with modeling. I must admit I did skip the Model Train set hall lol. - No really I did. There was R/C tanks/tractors/cranes/trucks/boats not no mention nitro bikes planes and of course helis etc Very good show indeed.
I did like the Mikado Logo 500 helis - 1st time I had seen one up close.
I watched a few demo's in the netted flying hall including some nitro choppers - Trex 500's and 450's with body kits on etc. I had 30 mins before I had to leave and had not bought anything - So I grabbed a flycamoneV2 and a some bits for my kids. Their wasn't any particular bargains to be had and I reckon you can still get stuff cheaper off the net anyway. I loved the nitro Motorbikes amazing little machines.
Here are a few pics:
cheers
