  • flight power evo tx battery on cellpro 4 s

hi guys came home today ,to find my parts and tx batt deliverd so had a look ,all seemed to be ok so first had a look at new tx battery flight power EVO-TX 1500 MAH 3S 11.1 LIPO well its a lot smaller in size. so i then noted it had a small black 4 pin plug for charging but the cellpro takes 6 pin ,do i just line it up & plug it in or do i need some other plug ,just wondering because i did phone fast lad before i made order online & said would the charger be ok & would the battery do for jr pcm 9 x at wich he said yes, now may be i did not make it clear or we got are lines crosed , any way does anyone know what i need cheers

you will need to order a cellpro pigtail from mike to do this or buy an adapter board. i converted my 2500 3s packs from FP to cellpro adapters for this very reason. you will need to rewire the plugs onto the existing setup, not difficult to do at all if you don't want to buy the adapter board.

    cheers

raptorheli2 thanks for your advice, just wondering when you say rewire the plug i think you mean the one on the battery eg change the wires around , sorry but this is new ground to me

        Hi Jim,

The easiest way is to get a cellpro to flightpower adaptor lead/board and you will then be able to charge any 2-4 cell flight power pack in the future. They cost around £10. Speak to Mike at www.aurorra.co.uk.

jim heli, when i say rewire i mean only the balance plug. rewire really is an overstatement, all you do is cut all wires (one at time so you do not short it out) and put the new pigtail on. it is a 5 minute job. or as already stated just buy the adapter board for 10 quid. a pigtail is coppers but you may feel better spending the 10 quid.

          cheers
