Hi guys I've only started this hobby 3 months ago started out by buying a trex 600 not realising how hard it was lol then brought a nano followed close by a 450 of which I can fly a small amount well until I crashed it awaiting spares to rebuild then brought a 130x which I love :-) crashed shed loads of times also waiting for spares and yesterday brought trex 550 all of this in 3 months oh and ive flown on the sim for approx 5hrs tops and thats not continuos flying now I need to know where I can get decent batteries at a fair price for it please help a fellow obsessed addict :


I flew/hovered the 600 twice yesterday via a buddy lead just practicing hovering and moving about a bit with it :-) and on the 2nd flight I landed it OMG was very scary lol

Very nice fleet you have there! What batteries are you looking for?

I use these Turnigy 5000mAh 6S 40C Lipo Pack in my 550 give great flight times best cheap lipo for me

Well I've just brought 2 overlander batteries but will be looking for optipower going wings and wheels the end of the month so maybe get a deal there

Blimey, what a fleet (in 3 months). With pockets that deep I don't think you need worry about battery prices

I would love to have been there today matey had to many things to do DIY at home plus I fixed the 130x :-) :-) well chuffed changed the tail gears so had all the head etc off never thought it was gonna fly again lol but it's bang on again :-)

Cheers guys yea it is a bit of a fleet the hope is that at least 1 is always fly able when I'm always crashing lol lol the mrs ain't to Keen every time I buy 1 lol I just couldn't believe how much batteries for these things are lol but guess your right compared with the cost of these the batteries arnt much

Get yourself some Turnigy 5000mah 6s 40C packs, Great value and significantly cheaper than packs such as optipower.

Cheers guys :-) a little of topic but what charge or adapter can I get for my 130x battery's as the balance lead is to small for my IMAX B6 so I can charge them but not balance charge
