  • Nano CPX and Dx6i

Hi everyone, please tell me there is some one out there who can help me, to cut a long story short a long term injury has put me out of work and taken away 90% of my out door hobbies/activites, so with my brother and father in-law (they're not too much help on this i have asked them) being in to radio control cars, boats and planes i thought i would give it a try my self, now 4 months later i love it and wanted a bigger challenge, so yesterday i brought the READY TO FLY Nano CPX, i couldn't quite use it at first but eventually had it flying smoothly around the room, "With no quick changes in Rudder, just mainly using the Aileron" (i dont know fancy names i have the book infront of me), now i was really intrested in the 3d side of things so i wanted to "TAKE A LOOK" yesterday with the DX4E that comes with it, now when u press the button to turn it into stunt mode the throttle would change to positive and negative pitch per up and down on the throttle, BUT today i had some FANTASTIC news, i was able to get my DX6I and i set her up using a video on you tube which i was told which i'll link now
Réglages settings Spektrum DX6i + Blade Nano CP (NCPX) indoor - MM - YouTube
now its perfect for normal flight in these settings for a little fun around my house, but when i stick it into 3d mode, which i presume i am doing by pulling down the flaps/gyro switch, now nothing really happens here,"i am flying in low rate mode btw" now what i believe to be throttle hold "Gear/F mode" the heli SHOOTS up damn quick, BUT as soon as i lower the control past the 50% mark it shuts RIGHT OFF, and i can't take it off again with out unplugging the battery and re connecting it. from how this acts its like "Throttle hold" is on, which for the Dx4e u had to press the trainer button 3 times in 3 seconds to turn off, so u can fly again, but i can't seem to suss it for the Dx6i
Ok, look im sorry i know im rambleing but i really wanna get this bird dancing, this is the next setup i intend to try tomorrow to see if anything is differet

please can you guys give me a little bit more information on the controller and what im doing wrong, and if possible give me some better setting ideas? i've been watching vids on youtube and can see how small a distance this heli needs to flip yet i woudln't know where to start,

Thanks so much for even reading that pile of babble
    Kind Regards,
    Nix

Sounds like the problem is in your pitch and throttle settings in the DX6i. Do you have the original manual?
        Cheers,

i do, but i followed the instufctions and i couldnt get it to even fly, it had flashing light like when your in throttle hold *emegency stop* and couldn't turn it off, i used the top link in my post for the later test, and had the same issue, when lowing throttle below 50 when in aux mode which i presume is 3d mode

Hi Nix, I've also got a Nano, and a 120SR, all relatively good with the 120, but unlike you I cannot even get my Nano to hover, so here's hoping you could help me out, could you send me your setup, and good luck with your probs.

                      Thanks Dave
