new to helis ikarus eco 8 help pls

My wife bought me a ikarus eco 8 kit which includes the ikarus heli 4000 speed controller 4 supertec naro/bbmax servos and the ikarus heli sport motor

I have built the eco 8 to use mechanical mixing as i have a 4 channel 35 mhz transmitter i used on aircraft,

i have a couple of questions

1st being when i throttle up nothing happens but throttle to minimum

the heli starts , should i reverse the throttle channel ???

2nd, how do i connect the pitch servo to the throttle ???

as i read somewhere that this needs doing for mechanical mixing

if i can get the eco 8 up n running and can fly it i might invest in a computer transmitter

any input would be great

Thanks to forum user disc
I have reversed channel 3 and the throttle now works as it should

now just the pitch servo to sort out
