Thanks for the advice. Think i'm almost decided on the 500. It seems a lot more stable on phoenix. How realistic are the 450 and 500 on phoenix.

I flew my 500 again yesterday and even though Im only using 3s 2100's from my 450 it is awsome. stable enough for me for do a faily long reletively low inverted hover in a mild wind.

I'm new to inverted so I was absolutely over the moon with doing it. The heli just impresses me more and more as I fly it

anyone wanna buy a 450 lol (joke - I wouldnt sell it)

My wife still thinks i have only one model!!! She see's no difference between my nexus, trex450 or my trex600N or thinking about it, my 7 fixed wings....and long may it continue if i want to keep my wedding tackle in place..hehe

Hi Sesame, are you running that on 12 or 13 th pinion? If it's the 13, how warm do the packs come off?

13T they last about 4mins and yes they do get fairly warm, which is why im trying to not use them too much until I get a proper power source for it.

I think I'll stick to the 12th pinion until I get a bigger pack. All the 2100s I'm using have got less than 10 cycles on them. I don't want to overstretch them before they have really got going
