  • My ideal first heli

So I was reading a post from streeker59 about his new dx7s and nano. And it got me thinking what is the best first bird and why? Iv only beef flying a year ish but have 7 Helis if I was to start again knowing what I know now it would have to be dx7s because the 6 is too simple (but dose the job) and the 8 is too fat IMO and a big steady fbl nitro like a trex 600 because of stick time and stability I woul have saved £ if I had just gone big an named instead of cheap and cheap

I think most of us have thrown money away when learning helis. There arent many with the balls to go out and blow £2k on their first heli, or second heli even!
Some say my left nipple is the shape of a Raptor canopy.......... And that for fun I chase sheep in wellies 3 sizes too big. All I know is I am 3D Clod

Yep.......Same here wasted money on loads of crappy helis, althoughi found a blade cx2 quite good for orientations. Then spend £1200 on a brand spanking Sceadu evo...... Now just waste money fixing bigger helis. You can't win :-)
