any good hobby shop should have phoenix. if you go for a blade you will also get a dx6i radio a very good setup.
if your an absolute beginer try a blade cx2 co axial . then move up to the 400. and use the sim till your sick!!!

Revolution are pretty good from what I have heard, a mate has just started and they put him on the right track and didn't try to sell him stuff above his ability. Being new to it he built up the heli and then popped back in and they went over it to make sure it was right. I'm sure they'll point you in the right direction.Velocity 50
Synergy N5
Fury 55 FBL
Trex 700
Light travels faster than sound, this is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak....

HI
From this thread I can see the simulator of choice is Phoenix.
I have downloaded a demo of it onto my PC and am now going to give it a whirl to see what it is like, how much is a decent TX to use with it or would it just be best to buy the Blade CX2 I'm looking at and use that controller until I become good enough to ry it on the real thing??------------------------------------------------

HI just been looking at the shop on this forum and found this:
PHOENIX-SIM1 / DX6 Bundle
Have no idea about the transmitter though wondered whether it was a good deal if I got this and a CX2 at some point?? Or should I just go for it and get the CX2 and the Sim together. My concern is the quality of the CX2 Transmitter? Can you just plug it straight into the dongle thingy that comes with Phoenix???
Sorry to keep bothering but would like to get it right first time to further enhance this hobby------------------------------------------------

I think the Tx is a Spektrum DX6i - in which case, it's a pretty decent Tx
