Hi all, today i got some confidence up and put a battery in the 4503d, only got it off the ground about a foot before a decided that more room was needed, and i better go to the field.

but while it was up it did have a nasty tail wag, to sort this do i lower the gyro gain in the tx?

heli is set up as per the booklet that came with it, so gyro rate is currently set to 77.5% norm and 76% stunt.

Booklet is junk on dx6i setup, when I had mine it was ok ish around 68%,
You need to back off the gain one click at a time until the wag stops once stopped wagging do a sharp tail turn and you should get one bounce, kinda like a car suspension. But like I said mine was around 68-69%.
If your not flying .....then make sure you crash with style

Go back about 5% then by 1%. Then less, more if it drifts etc.. Don't worry about how low it gets, mine is at 37 on my Align Trex 450 Pro.

          37% on a dx6i would be rate mode. For a dx6i, 37% heading hold = 50+(37/2)=67%
