    Hello
Can anyone tell me if the following are OK as a first charger for use with my MCPX. Don't really fancy a separate PSU at the mo.
Lipo Battery Balance Charger Overlander AC/DC RC-6S | Overlander Batteries
    Core RC UAC50 Charger 12v/110-240v 6A CR161
Fusion LX60B Elysium Pro Intelligent Balance Charger LX60BP
    Thanks

Overlander have been around a long time and anything from them should be ok. I haven't used the others. Do you want to charge 1 at a time or many in series or parallel? 1C or 2C charge?

yes, all of them will be good to charge your mcpx batts. you will need the correct charge lead. hobbyking does a multi lead that charges 1-5 batts at a time.

The main thing is to get a charger that tells you the mah put into your batteries, so you can tell how much you are taking out. They are 1S 300mah. If you charge in parallel that will be 1500mah , so 1.5Amp at 1S or in series it would be 300mah at 5S. In parallel the batteries need to be close in voltage before being connected as all batteries hold their volts and as soon as they are in parallel they will try to have the same volts and large currents can flow from high to low batteries. You can charge 1 or 5 batteries though by just reducing the current. In series the volts are not so important, but it is still best if all are close. You will have to charge all batteries at the same time.
