Personally, I've never had a problem with an Irvine 36H and Enya 3 plug.

Never failed to work, never let me down and always plenty of power.

60 quid I've seen them for at Inwood Models.

Perfect for a beginner. If you have a bit more cash, you could go for the trusty OS 37.

best os engine gotta be a os32 just my opinion but never seen a bad one. wish my os90 c spec lasted as long on fuel though.

Or the OS32. Someone told me the OS37 suffers like the 50 Hyper with rear bearing failure. The bearing in the OS 37 is an odd size and as such is very expensive. The OS 32 has been bullet proof for lots of people requiring no bearing changes.

OS37. More power than a 32 and runs cooler.

Good engine. No probs with mine in over a year & half.

Id go with the os37 ive had 2 with no problems the extra power is very usefull once you get past learning hovering,
I found mine easier to tune than the 32 and as said above it runs that little bit cooler rather than being on the verge of seizing

you could do what most do and that go with a OS 50 hyper you will have to upgrade boom gears blades and pin. but that said once you have done that it will keep you happy from start the full 3d

I had the os37 like many others had no problems with it until I upgraded to the 50, which as 3dee says is an option

if you keep them rich for the first ten or so flights the os 50 hypers are great
I am on the way to building a 50 raptor as a second heli and it willhave an os hyper in it 600 radix 8.45 gearing and 30% magnum. will also be looking at getting a canopy from martin and a head from top dragon models
