  • Esky Co comanche

    Hi everyone,

I have yet another issue, a new problem has occcured. From a fully charged battery the helicopter flies well up to about four minutes then the red reciever light starts to go red quite often, and shortly after i only get low power. I re-charged the battery and now the reciever light is alternating from red to green. According to the manual (which is mainly in another langauge) there may be something wrong with the crystals in the reciever. Do this make sence to anyone? Is my 4 in 1 knackered?

Could i have broke it altering the proportional control? I just dont understand my crap luck, i have a similar issue with my twister hawk, same thing with comanche, the battery only lasts about 5 mins and the reciever light turns red and i only get half power. The light does not alternate from red to gree though. It work fine for 5 mins. I have been advised its the motors and i have ordered some new ones, the thing i dont understand is i have only flown the hawk about 6 times - the motors should last longer than that surley?

    Help me someone please!

    Thanks,
    Iecabus.

Did you let it stand for the gyros to stabilise first, if it's alternating red/green that's sometimes that the TX is not fully at neutral, I'm not sure if it's the same on yours but that's on the Blade CX2 which is a similar machine.

Make absolutely sure your tx is set down, ie the throttle is completely down, and all trims are centred, except throttle which should again be bottomed out. Do it while the lights are alternating, you may be surprised that what you thought was set right, isn't.
