Broken blades already! upgrade advice?

Just did a really silly thing as it was windy out, started setting the king 2 up in the garage! eventually got the tail to stay steady, then i bounced it into a wall doh!

Anyone near tuxford with spare blades?!

Would it be worth buying carbon fibre blades or stick with wood? any trusted honk kong ebayers supplying spares?

Also looking through the upgrades list, is it worth upgrading everything to cnc and carbon parts? then theres the giro, should i get a headlock one as a priority along with the brushless moter and ESC?

I notice theres no dedicated forum within the site... should i take this as a warning to get something different?!

stick with woodies, you will stuff a lot more of them yet. Tbh, id stick with the standard setup, it will teach you everything you need to know. save the cash for crash repairs, and then get something bigger and more stable once your a bit more confident id also check your feathering spindle (the shaft between the 2 blade grips) isnt bent, and possibly also the main shaft. Enjoy

Nope nothing bent... just split main blades, Would it not be worth buying the upgrades ready for the crash repairs then? What would be the recomended outdoor elecy heli to get when i can hover this one!?

wait to see hwat other say specifically about the hbk2, but in my experience of most of that sort of heli, they will make little or no difference to how it flys, especially when you are a begginner (not meaning to sound patronising here!). get some stick time in, see how you get on, then if you and when you are getting on well with it, then the first thing id change would be the gyro. change it to a hh, then a brushless motor and esc.
