Newbie needs help!!!!! Again

Hello all
i have raptor 50 titan, redline 53h engine, redline highflow 3d exhaust, flybarless head, tarot xyz s, all servos 1520 us digi, 11.1 lipo and ubec voltage reg 6v, devo 10

all built trying to program xyz, if i connect the pitch ele and ail as shown the sticks do not corrispond with the right servos the only way i can get them to corrispond is to swap the plugs around on the xyz, before i connected the xyz all corrisponded correctly, surely this is not correct????

Also i am getting a collective of +20 to -20 is this because i have changed the standard head to a flybar

i have spent all day trying to figure it out but have to admit defeat aaaarrrrgggg

When you say the servos don't correspond to the sticks - do you mean the swash doesn't move as per the cyclic?

This vid might help - it's based on the 3GX, but the principles should be the same I'd imagine for the XYZ.

If its on a titan its h1 swash not ccpm remember!!

Ive just had a look, theres no setup vids at all for a V2 raptor or any other with the h-1 swash. Might have to do one soon when I can afford a vortex

when i say the servos dont corrispond i mean that the throttle/pitch on tx was moving the elevator, the elevator on tx was moving the aileron servo and the aileron on the tx was moving the pitch servo

have set the right swash type 1 normal

all seems to work fine now i have switched the plugs arround on the xyz s outputs but i dont like the idea of using it with the plugs not in the correct outlets as described on the programming instructions

AHHHH Do you have to tell the unit what radio you are using?? ie futaba or spektrum?? if so what ever you have it on swap it round. Cos what your describing there is the diff between Futaba and Spektrum channels

no the unit does ask what tx, but my radio was in the normal transmitter option only futaba and jmx were listed seperatly

do you think that the xyz will function correctly as it is , i have completed the programming and when i check the xyz by moving the heli all reactions are correct

futaba and jmx are the options. it will be in one or the other. The gyros WILL NOT WORK correctly if the servos are plugged into the wrong ports. plug the servos back into the correct ports and change the radio option in the fbl unit

ok will do, i didnt like the idea of using it like that evan though it appears to working correctly, things go in certain places for a reason.

any idea why i have +20to -20 pitch now i have changed to flybarless, nspecs say i should get +10 to -10 on titan v3 with the standard head

Yeah on the flybar mixer arms there is a reduction ratio of 0.5:1 so for every 2 mm the swash moves up it would push the blade grip down 1mm. Now your at direct drive so 2mm on the swash is 2mm at the blade

Just adjust the end points so you only get 11 each side and youll be fine

turns out that the tarot 3.0 programming download lists the gyro to servo connections in the wrong order, nice one tarot, thanks for 3 hours head scratching
