  • Still exicited - Gallery additions

    Hey Guys,

I'm still buzzing from Saturdays flight. I have added a couple of picks to my Gallery, taken by Gem - she used my ample frame as a saftey shield for the whole flight, very safety concious!

Hope you like the pics - if anyone is interested! ops:

By the by, can anyone recommend a good heli model shop in Bristol?
Didn't have much joy in my luch hour today - Fred Coulson was closed and 'Antics' could't even sell me a pitch gauge, let alone the Zimmerman muffler I was after! (I ordered one from helibits this evening)

    Cheers,

    Rob.

      Hi Rob,

Iv'e had a look at your pictures, wow, there's no stopping you now

Ian at Fred Coulson models is on holiday this week, he will be back in from next Monday onwards. He is closed on Wednesdays and Sundays but is open all other days.

Let me know if you are thinking about popping in next week sometime and I will meet you there.

      Cheers,

      Pete.

        Thanks Pete,

I did have a little help from the co-pilot! (But not as much as I thought I was getting - turns out I didn't have it set as high as I wanted!) ops:

If you PM me your number I will call if I pop into FCM next week. When I go will depend on whats happening at work!!

I want to get a field charger for the NiCads and the transmitter - anyone got a recommendation? There seems to be a huge choice and I don't really know what I want!

Saw a lovely Robinson R22 with a learner on board yesterday when I was out on the airfield, flew right over the landrover I was in! Almost makes work fun?!

Was wagging his tail quite a lot mind.

        Cheers,

        Rob.

(PS. Wow - could have split that up for mucho points, but don't worry about me likansuk - I'm not even in it!)

If this is the sort of banal postings the competion is going to encourage it can only turn people off , if they have to wade through reams of lets make a date.
Isn't that what the PM system is for.

            G-DAVE,

I can only apologise if you find my postings banal. Im not actually interested in the competition, and any postings I may make are not influenced by point scoring in any way, in fact I find the ones that are petty and annoying also. I thought I had asked a reasonable question regarding field chargers, and if you find the other information in the post irrelevant I can only suggest that from now on you skip any posts that I make, if I actually make any more.

While I have only been a member of this site for a short while I have received much help and guidance that has been invaluable to me starting this hobby, though I note none from you.

As far as turning people off, you have managed that with me.

Apologies to Stuart for bringing aggravation to an otherwise excellent source of information and assistance, with what up to now has been a friendly, pleasant membership.

              Hi Raptorrobbie
If the cap fits --- you know the rest .

" No Help from You " you said

You obviously find you own topics uninteresting as you appear not to read the replies - I refer to the one about your loose muffler - I think you'll find I attempted in a small and clumbsy way to answere your request for advice in a civilised manor. And will continue to do so as usual.

                Hi Rob

                The pics were great.

I too think it is a shame that there are just posts for the sake of it.

Hopefully Stuart will be able to see through some of the 'fake' posts, or topics that have just been started for the hell of it (or to score points)

Big question is, will the excitement / momentum be maintained for the next 2 months ?
