    Thats a wise move (not having a CC)

    A few people I know have got into the habit of Stoozing (swapping from 0% card to 0% card) as they have got themselves in too deep.

    If you can't pay cash for it then you cannot afford it, plain and simple.

    The level of debt (not helped by the cost of goods vs cost of imports) in his country is astounding.

    I read that every man/woman/child owes 486 (averaged out)
    Given that many people have not got credit cards and most are not eligible then a few people must have huge credit card debts.

      rather them than me,i saw my older brother fall into the credit trap and he took a few years to get out of it.

        The hobby is only as expensive as you make it, you dont have to have the latest and greatest equipment all in 1 go. My flight box is my old rucksack (also means you have 2 hands free!), the starter battery came from a UPS (FOC), I borrow tools from mates when I cant afford to buy etc.

        It took me ages to save up for my Raptor 50 but I got there in the end...

          too true dedcalm, as i always say, there is something in this hobby for every one regardless of your wealth,ability or knowledge. as long as you enjoy it!!
