dx4e is it real bad ?

I have just picked up a bnf nano cpx second hand.

I won't be able to get a dx6 for at least a few months but a dx4 is in my budget.

Is it a real bad tx and should I avoid?

I wanna fly the nano ASAP so I'm kinda tempted to get the dx4

Save your money save up for the dx6i or get teh orange ne from hobbyking

It will fly the nano yes and will fly OK, but thats it OK

Like steve says your best saving your money and getting a 6i BUT if you want to fly the nano now, I cant see any harm in the dx4 being a stop gap. I fly my nano with a dx4e while im waiting for my futaba converter to come

I just got my RTF Blade Nano today. The DX4e is extremely basic. It has no programmable curves, expo, etc. what you see is what you get. I have just hovered the Blade in the lounge a little bit and I'm sure it will be much better when I bind it to the DX7.

I have it on a dx8 and its amazing both the dx8 and the nano ! Dumb down the nano DR & Expo. Set at 60/20 marvellous for a beginner

Save your money mate you can pick a second hand dx7 for £ 100 that will take you right through the hobby

It will be more difficult to fly the nano on the DX4e as it has no expo. It does have rates though so it will be possible. As a first tx it is reasonable, but you will need a better one before long.
