For charging the Nano batteries I use one of these

Banana Plug 6in1 Ultra Micro Charging Harness fits Turnigy Nano-Tech 160mah lipo | eBay

Looks like the banana plugs would just plug into the LX60B....

      Re: 1s charger harness

Reaver , what batteries do you need to charge & do you know if the 2 & 3 cell balance ports on your charger are jst . If they are then yes you can get a lead that will change (kind of ) your 1s batteries into a single 3s pack . Obviously you will need 3 batteries of the same mah to do this , the lead is only a couple of quid from the bay or electryflyer . By the sound of it you may need to upgrade your charger at some point & i would go with the best you can afford to futureproof yourself mate . Rob

OK, bear with me on this...

The LX60B can charge 1S - 6S batteries. That is it can charge at:

        1S - 3.7v
        2S - 7.4v
        3S - 11.1v
        4S - 14.8v
        5S - 18.5v
        6S - 22.2v

You connect the battery to the charger by a charging cable. Now, if you have a charging cable with just one battery connector you can just charge a single battery at a time. However, if you get a parallel charging cable for the battery type you want to charge (and by type I mean with the correct connector for that battery type) then you can charge as many batteries at the same time as you have connectors on the cable. Providing your charger has sufficient power and that you follow the safety rules when parallel charging (all same number of cells, that is all 1S or all 2S etc, and all roughly same state of discharge).

So, take my LX60B for example...

Here is the connector port for the battery, it is banana plugs and that is pretty standard for a general purpose charger...

If I want to charge 1 battery I use a cable that has a single battery connector, such as this one for my 3S. I use XT60 connectors (yellow) but other people will use a connector of their choice (othen EC3, Deans etc)...

If I want to charge more than one battery at a time then I use a parallel charging cable with the correct connectors. In this case it is a cable I use to parallel charge up to 8 x 1S batteries for my 120SR...

If I want to charge several 2S to 6S batteries together then I use a parallel charging board with balancing so I can balance charge them. i use this to parallel charge up to 4 of my 3S batteries for the 450 heli...

Note that with this board I must also use the single XT60 lead (see above) to connect the board to the charger.

So, with a general purpose charger it can charge single batteries or multiple batteries providing you have the correct parallel charging cable and follow the simple safety instructions for parallel charging.

The E-Flight chargers and the one you asked about are fine if you only ever want to charge a single type of battery.

        I hope this helps

@Rob O, cheers mate. Just Google searched JST and yes, my charger has them. I think I may just get another charger as they give some handy information on the LCD screen about the charging cycle. The imax B6 was mentioned earlier and I like the look of it and it's reasonably priced. Definitely a lot better than my current cheapy one which just shows a green light when charged.

@450man, WOW! Thank you for taking the time in creating your post, everything makes sense now. The Lipos I currently have, have the yellow connection and the, now I've looked, JST connector. I just presumed that the JST was for charging and the yellow one for connecting to the heli as my charger only has JST connectors. Right, I've had a look at the Imax B6 which was mentioned earlier and i quite like the look of that and I've checked out a review on youtube and I'm quite impressed with it, bear in mind I'm a beginner.

With everyone's help, I think I'm ready to take the plunge and start ordering. May I ask if everything I'm thinking of getting is compatible with each other?

Blade MSRx BNF £49.99 I already have a DX7 Tx
Imax B6 with mains supply £39.95 I have some pennies in my PayPal account so may as well use them
Hyperion 6-port parallel adapter for 1s £5.95 (thank you for the link Bhujang)
            Turnigy 160mAh batteries x6 £13.99

Will all the above sort me out? If there are any good online shops which are widely used by you guys and have most of these in stock, feel free to let me know please.

I must thank every one of you so far for being so kind, helpful and most of all, patient with me. Thank you

I hear the Turnigy batteries are not so good. You don't get so many cycles from them. Stock are way better than these. The Hyperion or Miniaviation are well good in my experience...
