I'm currently flying an Heliguy 'Atom' FP (Xieda9958?) which I can hover no problem and can do left and right, side-on hovering fairly well. I've been practising for about 2 months and I feel like I'm making very little progress now. Whenever I try anything a bit more ambitious things seem to go off the rails.
The trim of the heli seems to vary wildly between flights/batteries, sometimes fairly stable other times fairly vague, sometimes I can do a (twitchy) sort of circuit other times it's a direct hit on something solid.
My questions are:- Where does the Heliguy Atom fit in with other small heli's in terms of quality? Am I fighting the heli or my skill level or both?
I'm perfectly willing to spend a few quid for a different/better heli but I realise it might just be me. Help!!!
