    What blades for a beginner & scale / sport flying - wood, carbon or glass fibre?

    I have always used woodies and have never seen or had a problem, but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen I suppose!
    Touch wood (pun intended) I won't have any problems with them this year!

      Yeah I had a set of woodies on my Raptor 50 once and they had a clear plastic covering which eventually got a tear in it and started flapping around but they were fine for basic circuits and hovering and stuff.
