That would be quite a jump from a 3 channel. You'll need a lot of practice on Phoenix and Blythe time you learn to hover it the little mcpx might be in a bad way so be prepared to make repairs; new tail boom, new blades, landing gear, swash plate, feather spindle, worn out motor, etc.... It will be a fun learning curve.

if you wanna fly out side then mcpx is probly the 1 espeacially this time of year BUT it can be like a bluebottle on steroids at first.Originally posted by martyjward View PostWould like a mCPx long run, chances are I wouldn't get anything too big as most of my flying will be garden / indoors. From what I understand if I get a DX6I I can adjust various settings to 'calm' the mCPx down as I learn - if this true I may go for the mCPx rather than an mSRx.
i had to learn on full rates no expo i cant do sloppy but most are oposite the dx4e does have a rate switch wich makes it dosile but you can do some wizardry and set up expo on dx4e to further sloppyfy it u only really need a better tx on these things to lower pitch curve so tail dont blow out so easy flipping inverted etc pluss tx is great to leave on desk for sim use
