In an attempt to get me off my PC a bit more my dear lady gave me a Lama V4 for xmas.
For something that advertises as being ready to fly straight out of the box its a very very steep learning curve.
I'd hate to see what they class as a copter that requires 'setting up'.
Anyway so far ive broken 2 blades and 'trimmed' one of the wifes indoor plants a bit more than was needed. But, i'm hooked. I love it. I have not been able to do more than make it hover about 4 feet off the ground (with a fair amount of sideways drift) but i just cant get enough.
I'm gradually going through these forums and learning a great deal about changing settings, flying tips etc etc.
So this is just a rambling message to say Thanks to all those who post here. These forums are proving invaluable to me.
Ah and one other thing. Anyone know of a Heli club in suffolk (bury / Sudbury area) that i could possibly contact with a view to maybe joining?
