  • I've done it!

Just ordered a CX2 + Phoenix! yay! can't wait for them to come

I got 2 pairs of spare upper + 2 pairs of lower blades too, along with a spare battery. This should be enough to get me going shouldn't it?

    *excited*

depends on yourself mate some use it some dont. use phoenix for a few hours to get a feel for the sticks. then use the heli on a smooth floor(eg kitchen)no tile ridges though. let the heli get light on the skids and slide it around..be carefull dont tip it over.do forwards and backwards first to get the feel.
then when you feel ready find as big a room as possible, with a carpeted floor. spool up the heli and as soon as it goes light, give it a quick stab of throttleNOT TOO MUCH. it should lift into the air hopefully about a foot ,use the right stick to bring it under control, and if your phoenix time has paid off you'll be in a wobbly hover. now practice till your sick!!!

stick with the phoenix it will be come tedious when the real heli is sat there waiting and wimpering like a puppy . but don't give in to it ,show it who's the boss!

you can make your own training gear with thin rod and table tenis balls if need be!
