  • Throttle hold pitch curve

    Hi folks

What is the normal setup for the throttle hold pitch curve? My MT has a normal pitch curve (-2 to +10), which I use for take off and landings, and an idle 1 pitch curve (-10 to +10) for flying around so what should I set the pitch curve to in throttle hold mode?

    Many thanks

i have 12/12 in all modes. one good reason to have the full range in hold is so that zero is in the middle. you know that if your the right way up you want to be below centre and inverted above centre. its by far the best way to do aerobatic autos.

My hold curves are all 100% servo movement, so full top and full bottom. I have recently changed all my pitch curves to straight lines ( -10, 0, +10) on all flight modes, as i am now starting to use them all. ( your hold needs to be set up to practice Autos). Roll on when the Evo's rebuilt.
-I don't crash, I just land with enthusiasm.

A couple of 600n's with stuff on them that makes them fly..
A 550 fbl with even more stuff on it to make it fly
And a Mars 470 which needs stuff putting on it to make it fly

        And a DX8 too

            AHA!

YOU are the flyer in this video! [ame="http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=sYh5L_9p8a8"]http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=sYh5L_9p8a8[/ame]

Having watched that, I'd be taking your advice!

How long/steep was your learning curve?

How long before you could fly like that?

Give us newbies a brief run down of your story - It'll keep us motivated and give us hope that in the end we too COULD fly like that one day!
