Blade CX2 Tips and Tricks ?

Hi all,

As a newbie to this forum and to heli flying (after receiving a CX2 from Santa) I'm just woundering what tips or tricks you guys have for the CX2?

For example:

I've heard of people shortening the fly bar by 2 inches.. Why was this done and what effect would this have?

Any performance mods?

Extreme kit, whats this ?

If anyone has any tips and tricks please post them on this thread..

PS. The reason I'm after this information is because after todays flight outside I'd like to see how well this little chopper can fly!

They are Fixed Pitch they aren't designed to fly outside

In very calm conditions ie NO WIND yes you can fly outside

In wind they become a whole different kettle of fish they go up but you try getting one back down with any control authority

Often the only way down is a shut throttle

This is why you need Collective not Fixed Pitch to fly outside
