The Final Straw

OK so i really app everyones help this is my last try to get this piece of junk working before i throw in the trash.

1, the heli spins counter clockwise and spins faster as the blade speed increases
2, ive to switching reverse modes on the gyro & the Tx
3, ive tried changing the gain on the gyro & the Tx
4, the small piece on the tail rortor shaft (in which the belt goes sround to turn the rotors) spins independantly to the shaft its on(there is no sign that there was ever a lug screw holding it to the shaft)
5, I tried to glue this piece to the shaft just to see what happens and it didnt make a difference
6, when stationary when i move the tail the gyro does compensate the correct way

With all this in mind does anyone have any other ideas

the tail blades are going the wrong way perhaps... ie belt not on correctly. just a thought.. oh and happy new year to ya in florida

I think the answer to this is you're item No.4. The belt should drive the tail gear (part you mention is spinning) but i don't think glue is gonna cut it. You should try and find what size grub screw should go in there. I havn't kept up to date with what you've tried or what heli this is.
