Anyone for a beginners Phoenix session?

Phoenix session for those that are learning, rather than 'smackdown' etc. . . Perhaps we can share tips/ideas/practice ideas?
I'll start a session called heliaddicts beginners password basics

I'm thinking perhaps a game where ppl take turns showing a move, then the next person copies it as best as they can, while observed and so on. . . Tips/suggestions offered etc.

Or am I on my own here?

thats what I thought ... had some nice flights today and yesterday so a bit "done" for the weekend ... next occasion might be better ... but from what I saw today, mate you dont relly need the beginner session really ..

we tried calling our session uk novice, but you still get the 3ders 3d ing right in your face. Don't get me wrong, some are amazing, but not much help to a novice!!

Yeah that was fun, when it worked...
I'm not sure what crashed more - my PC or my heli...
I was interrupted for half an hour by a pesky tenant complaining that their boiler was broken, but I think on-line is much more fun on Phoenix then solo.
I still find it really hard though - much harder than flying a 500 in real life - dunnow - maybe depth perception or just resolution, but I really find the sim hard to do - feels very 'alien' compared with the real thing.
I saw some sneaky banked turns in there Vikki - keep at it, you will be fine, I promise! Like I know LOL
