It could be said though, that at least the guys at Phoenix are now aware of its existance and may be able to do something about it.

Wasn't there a similar issue with Reflex last year? they got the guy who was producing them took him to court (or sent round the heavies) got him to hand over his list of customers, they then went after them individually threatening legal action etc.

Well Andy, tell us something, do you expect to get paid for working? I certainly do! Ask my pupils! They have to pay me for teaching them to drive.

So should you pay the right price and buy Phoenix from a legitimate source? Of course you should, so don't act so surprised when you get a negative reaction here.

The guys at Phoenix do a good job and deserve to get the reward for there efforts, even more so when you realise what a limited market a Aero sim is.

Phoenix has provided many on here probably the best sim at the best price
Not only beginners but pros alike have benefited (<= fcuk the spelling)
And hopefully noobs joining this hobby will also
To loss all this for the sake of a few quid, which you will save on avoided crashes is not worth it

Consider it a donation to the good cause of aero model flying

I wasn't advocating the procurement or use of illegal software, merely stating that Phoenix is easy to steal, the use of pirate software is on the head of the end user and if I was as skint as I have been in the past an advert like that would look quite appealing.
I'm fully aware of the damage theft can wreak on a companys balance sheet.

Hi Andy copy rite mate all these sim's a copy rite material and as such if someone copies them its in breach of it i'e claims to work with Phoenix etc. Plus like i said if it works it will not work properly. If its Fms its free and not very good anyway.

my bigest gripe is that its not £79.95 its £88.90....i know its only a few quid it just annoys when a product is one price and then.... oh you need to spend another 8 quid for it to work but you can keep the adapter thats no good to you.....grrrr why dont they offer packages that have the adapter you need included!!!!

The Phoenix dongle has a standard phono jack on the end of the lead - thats what JR/Spektrum uses, so no further adaptors required.
Futaba Txs need an adaptor, so that adds to the cost for Futaba users - but you still need the original lead - it's the dongle... you then attach your Futaba adaptor to the end and away you go.

So, for users without the need for an adaptor, the lower price stands...
