        haha i see i thought this would be a cheap hobby that i could just do with my 35 pound helicopter .... seems i was wrong haha .... ill just have to upgrade to a 4 ch and a sim when im back in work

          You can do it on the cheap with a £35 heli but.....you'll be limited to what you can do with it and where you can fly and most probably get bored with it's limited capability

            my 35 pound heli is going to need the same spent on it again to fix it .... just checked it over properly it needs plastic body thing ,swas plate , blade grips , balance bar , connector buckles and skids ..... think rather than fix it ill take everybodys advice and get a mini indoor 4 ch to practice on

              That's always the way...I'd recommend a Blade mcx as they're great fun to fly through the house, up and down the stairs and try to land on things...if it's too slow you can always do the flybar mod and make it a bit faster

                Hello Joe, welcome to addicthouse. I think a lot of people buy a heli and crash it right off. I found heli flying to be one of the hardest things I have ever learned to do. You just have to persevere and there is such a lot on the internet to help. I learned from books and VHS videos.
                Helicopter pilots get it up quicker.

                When the blue light is flashing I am kidding.

                Why simplify when it is so much simpler to complicate.

                  do any of you think that one of those small palm sized 4ch infrared ones would be helpful to learn on

                    Hi Joe and welcome., Your best ever purchase and you will need one what ever stage your at is a flight sim. Money well spent, especially on them cold windy day when you can't get out & a + you can smash as manny helis as you like it want cost you a thing
