You can do it on the cheap with a £35 heli but.....you'll be limited to what you can do with it and where you can fly and most probably get bored with it's limited capability

That's always the way...I'd recommend a Blade mcx as they're great fun to fly through the house, up and down the stairs and try to land on things...if it's too slow you can always do the flybar mod and make it a bit fasterOriginally posted by doublej View Postmy 35 pound heli is going to need the same spent on it again to fix it .... just checked it over properly it needs plastic body thing ,swas plate , blade grips , balance bar , connector buckles and skids ..... think rather than fix it ill take everybodys advice and get a mini indoor 4 ch to practice on

Hello Joe, welcome to addicthouse. I think a lot of people buy a heli and crash it right off. I found heli flying to be one of the hardest things I have ever learned to do. You just have to persevere and there is such a lot on the internet to help. I learned from books and VHS videos.Helicopter pilots get it up quicker.
When the blue light is flashing I am kidding.
Why simplify when it is so much simpler to complicate.
