Need more space. Get it away from the floor. Holding the tx and moving the sticks I find difficult. Uncross yer legs. Get a strap to take weight of tx, or bodge something.

Hey Carpman, thats exactly what ive been doing with my lama v4, maybe a little higher, just try keep the tail always towards you, ive started to notice, as my battery dies, or i use a diffrent battery i need to adjust my gain a little here and there to keep the tail from turning, or the helo going to forward ect.

You nearly chopped your leg off right at the end

use thumb and first finger to hold stick, i find this gives more feel and control

Like the others says thumb and 1st finger on the sticks
neck strap and a bit higher off the ground
as for space i didn't think it was to small ,its about the same as i use for indoors

biggest tip i can think of is SMILE ffs your doing ok. keep that tail towards you and get off the ground quicker. jump up at least 1' then gather it up into a steady hover and play.. well done dude that looks cool.

ok, i agree its a personal thing but i tend to find i have more feel and control when using my thumb/finger arrangement. Best thing to do is try it both ways and decide for yourself

i agree do your own thing.
the pinch method feels more precise to me.
with thumbs on top of the sticks its easier to "dumb thumb" in a panic situation.

Looks OK for 3 Days, as others have mentioned lift off a little quicker, when the heli so close to the ground the ground effect makes the heli more difficult to control, get about two feet in the air you will notice quite a difference.
As for the control method, sure get a neckstrap, but as for thumbs or pinch, it is a matter of personal taste for me Thumbs only.
Good luck, and once you have mastered it I bet you want a bigger and better one.

you're doing great for three days...

The higher you climb off the floor the easier it'll get as you get out of the turbulent air near the floor, equally the air bouncing off those cupboards will knock the heli about a bit. Once you get up above a few feet the air will smooth out and it'll get much easier. Keep going and it'll come sooner than you think!
