  • hey hoe yet another newbie :)

    hello all

ive bought myself a century uk mini 47g heli from my local model shop for 70 pound. I got it home and i was flying it round not a problem i put 2 packs though it and it was fine but ive just put the pack in for another go and it is glitching the trottle is fine but the elivator i think (up and down movement) is glitching and so is the side to side movement. then i turn right the trottle increases but when i turn left the throttle decreases !!!!!! for some very odd reason! but the normal movement up nad down on the left stick works lik normal. Can anyone help me.

there aresome switches on the back of the tranny these are set to how they should be ive checked all the plugs its ever since i poped the motors out to take the skids off to straigten them out. after a heavy landing really enjoying it i flew it into mymums flowers and dead headed them lol.

ive tried diffrent locations with the ariel tried dangelling down rapped around the skids around the tail but none of them help.

when you say glitching is it dancing about! also i assume you me back wards forwards left and right.

the heli will speed up and slow down slightly as you turn(thats how they work).

so firstly untie the ariel wire. and thread it from the esc box along the tail boom thread it in and out of the little beams, dont double it up anywhere. then whem you get to the back of the heli tie a knot in it on the tail and let the rest dangle free.
try that and see how you get on.
another point you are charging the batteries fully?

lol it gets worse lol it started doing it again but now my battery has died so thast back on charge basically what its doing is its like someone is puching the elevator to full forwards then to back then forwards back etc etc etc and im not even touching the transmitter. i routed the ariel like you said and it took off again for a few flights fine but then it started doing it again it went mad again just going up and down.

Mine is a little pathetic compared to yours in your display picture!! it looks very nice

Sorry to be a pain in the a*se

ashley im off to bed now!! charge em right up and time your flights (no more than four minutes) if that gets rid of it your over discharging the batts. always stop flying as soon as you feel them loose power, even slightly. this is a very small heli with small batts.

and dont worry about avatar picture we all start somewhere .
                night dude!

night! thanks for all your help you have been very helpful ive been using it until the fail safe kicked in so i proberly am overdischaring it i will time it next time and not run it for longer than 4 minutes and see if that helps.

haha i love you !!!! but not in a gay way

wow you know lots about heli's

                    really chuffed

ran it for 5.38 the first time i lef tit a bit longer as i spent 4 minutes of that picking it up nad straightening the blades back up again lol so then i put it back on charge and now it doesnt do it so ive run it fo a few more minutes and now ill leave it and charge it again in the morning.

I have another problem if you wouldnt mind helping me.

When i hovver it keeps spinning round anit clockwise ive got the trim as far over as it goes so it only doe sit slowly but it makes it super hard to fly as when i ush forwards to go it goes in a diffrent dirrection as it turns round. so im just wondering how can i ajust it to stop it spinning left as my trim is al the way to the right.

right dude now it gets complicated
charge the battery fully and hover the heli.set trims to center. if it turns anticlockwise adjust the proportionan pot on the esc(not gain) a very small amount clockwise.. then unplug the battery. reconnect and try again. be patient and only adjust small amounts at a time.if the heli turns clockwise adjust it anticlockwise.
remember full battery.......then once you've got it hovering steady you can use the trim to keep it like that as the battery looses power.

remember ashley four minute flights your batteries will live much longer.

there should be two adjustment points

                          "gain"...&..."prop"

if its new and your having real problems with it . then that is your best option before you have a big crash! as they'll not look at it then.
