  • Blade CX2 Yaw issue...

    Hi all,

Sorry if this has been posted before but I did search before posting this question.

Ive been flying my Cx2 since xmas day now and Im getting on quite well with it.

I have noticed something strange.. Now this may be normal but wanted to see if any other CX2 owners have the same thing.

Basically, when turning Nose left it is alot slower than turning Nose right. Nose right is very quick and responsive while Nose left takes a little while to turn a full 360 degrees.

Note: this is just using the rudder control left or right..

Anyone else had this issue or know if its normal?

    Thanks

    Matt

use the second para of my second post be patient little at a time

if you get crazy and decide to go the whole way the servos are reversed on the cx2 eg which does f/b which does r/l.

      Hey Boggy,

Thanks for the reply. I havent tried adjusting the gain yet as mentioned in the post, but before I do can I just clarify what you mean.

By adjusting the gain (down maybe) the yaw should start to equal in the response left or right?

      thanks

adjust the proportion first till you get an even turn rate with no drifting.
then try the rudder if the heli turns but is hard to stop(eg keeps turning so you have to use opposite rudder to control it) turn up the gain. if the heli turns then wags its tail turn down the gain
again be patient and small adjustments at a time.

the ideal setting is get to the piont where it wags then decrease the gain slightly to eliminate it.

make sure you do this on a fully charged battery

And adjust each pot with minute adjustments, correct one pot at a time, and don't attempt to do both together or you'll find yourself in a right mucking fuddle.
