Model match on dx7?

How do you get it to work?

Up to now I've only had one heli but I recently aquired another and I was hoping this model match thing would work but it doesn't seem to be.

Correct me if I am wrong but isn't it supposed to automatically select the correct model when you turn on the heli?

I have an AR6100 and an AR7000. Both are bound and controlling the heli fine but I still have to change models manually.

Model match justs stops you from using the wrong model setup
You do have to select the model in the tranny

press and hold down scroll and select on the left hand side then switch on the tx. use the right hand to increase or decrease model number when you have the right one press left select ONCE and switch off tx.

to start a new memory do the above select a free memory and bind it to your new model

when you bind the reciever to the transmitter,, that's the only model number that it works on... for instance.. model 2 on my tx is for my trex 600n. model 3 is a back up copy of model 1 and model 4 is a back up copy of my trex600.. so if I forgot to switch to the correct model number.... the heli will not reconise the tranny and would not function

I also use model 10(trex) model 11(Knight50) for pheonix sim as they are set up diferently........ and yes I have used the incorrect model no. before... fail safes are a must
