Christ what a sim, fantastic, I've downloaded all the updates, the extra helis & planks from there site, even done a few online sessions with other flyer's on there fields which was awesome.

I haven't a clue what most of the settings mean but I'm having too much fun too care right now.

The Sea King is great to fly and I've been bombing around on the rex's 450 & 600's, trimmed them as best I can and crashed £££££ of kit.

I have my Blade 400 System on order and that'll be arriving soon, and Pip is coming over to give me a few tips and help me understand what does what, as right now it's a complete mystery

I'm like a ten year old right now, so excuse me, but wow, did I mention I'm having loads of fun BTW.

Hey cool, is it beginner friendly then? i was thinking of getting this, i got a cheap one off ebay and it sucks, have you got a Blade cx2 or Lama v4 on the Phoenix?

Are you moving up to the Blade 400 from your Blade cx2? I cant stop thinking about that blade 400 since i seen another thread on it flying out the box... im sure it may be my next step

        Cheers mate

Yes I've been flying the BCX2 for quite a few months now and want to go to the next level.

I've listened to the guys here and I'm taking the route they recommend, the Blade 400 is gaining fab reviews for it's cost, of course it isn't going to float any hard core 3D pilots as there way above this level, but for me it's a giant step.

The Sim is and isn't user friendly, it's easy to install and works perfectly, but many of the flight adjustments are way above my understanding right now, which in turn also makes you realize how unready you'll be for flying a CCP heli without any sim practice, and I mean many hours.

The BCX2 is on the Sim, but you have to download it from there site, and in the sports hall it's very realistic to the real thing.

Even flying fixed wing machines, you do something wrong and down you come, this has made me realize how unrealistic the FMS sim is by comparison.

Since playing the Phoenix for a few hours I have ate much humble pie, this is one very difficult hobby to get into when you practice on the real stuff, but in the same breath it doesn't come much better.

Being able to practice on a no risk Sim being able to fly the BCX2 in the house, having so much help here while drooling over the 400 when it arrives how many hobbies can boast that.

It's completely impossible to fly a CCP without any prior experience or advice, I've totaled about 200 helis on that sim on a few hours and there been silly mistakes not knowing what your doing, add a little breeze to the field and oh boy do they become untamed beasts until you know what to do.

But this is real world flying experience as your going to always experience slight wind on any day.

Trust me mate do as they say here and it'll save loads of heartache and expense.

if you do get phoenix or when
don't forget to ask for a adaptor for your TX it is not the same as a JR,Spektrum or cx
to make sure you get the right one take you TX with you
the adaptor looks like a 4 pin round shape like a s-video lead if that makes sense

This is a beginner friendly sim and has extras that others haven't even thought of

I like being able to isolate pitch etc when doing hover training...

Get yourself a copy of the sim right away!
