Hello, 1st thread in this forum. Any help will have a cause for me to be grateful.. I just got my new Storm 450 from helipal. I have a gyro question. Quickly though I would like to say I took a chance with Helipal. I don't work for them or make any money what so ever from them but you may not be able to tell that with the kudos's I bout to give em. I ordered late last Friday and the next Thursday I received my new heli. It is suppose to be a RTF, but I got the "without tx and receiver ". Still it came completely built and built nicely I can say. I was really impressed with their service . I have e mailed them 3 time so far. Twice before my heli order and once since I got it. All three times they got back to me within 24 hrs. My heli got here with no damage and so far I love the look and how well they put it together. No Thread loc but I am not holding that against them, as I would go thur it all anyway and who knows maybe they figure the same thing. I know this is not the review thread, and I am sorry if this shout out is in the wrong place, however I am just excited about it and wanted to let anyone thinking about getting this from Helipal or anything from them my experience.,
Ok if i may about my gyro & tail servo. My heli came with Align ds425 tail servo and the Rock-5 gyro. My servo seems to be getting warm. I have not flown this bird yet , just got it yesterday, but am installing a AR6115 receiver, to work with my DX6I. The other servos seem fine and I have centered them, and have them moving like they are suppose to. I noticed though when I was setting up the gyro that the tail servo is warming up. Warm to touch, not hot, but that could be because I keep unplugging it while trying different things to see what's causing this. I disconnected the ball linkage at the tail assembly hoping i was binding somewhere, but it still gets warm. It does take a bit longer to warm not connected to tail assembly. I have the two settings on the gyro its self set to DS, and I did have to rev the direction, also I have delay set to 50 and the limit set to 100.
Hopefully this is enough info but if not I will list whatever I have to. Thanks for any help.
