Got your PM David about that club. Replied.

Sean, I'd definitely be up for going out flying with you sometime. What heli(s) do you have? I only live a few miles from Mallusk myself, so it's handy enough to me.

It was too windy today to get the 120 outside, so I just practised basic manoeuvres on the MCX2. My DX6i will hopefully be here tomorrow and I'm more excited about getting it than I was about getting a new heli lol. Can any of you point me in the direction of a decent guide to setting it up properly? It will mainly just be used with the 120 and MSR X at the minute.

Oh, and I was in Icarus a year or so ago getting nitro fuel for 1 of my buggies and I noticed he stocked a lot of heli/plane parts, so I've been looking at his shop online and he does seem to be one of the better stockists here in NI and very reasonable too. I'm planning to take a trip down to him when he re-opens on Wednesday to pick up a few bits and pieces.

My DX6i arrived last night. Does anyone know how to get PPJoy or Vjoy working with SPP to get the simulators working properly? I'm running windows 7 on Mac bootcamp. I've read a few guides, but struggling to get it to work properly. I haven't even installed the simulator yet, as I can't get SPP to recognise the Tx.

Update: I've bought a few new toys in the last week - MCPX (came with a DX6i, so I now have 2) and Blade 400. I've been able to hover the MCPX on tame settings, so I think this will be my practice heli for a while and if we have any calm days, I'll get the 400 out and try to hover it. I got all of the "beginner" settings for the 400 off this forum, so just need to get a big field somewhere and get it out.

I have to say, the DX6i has been the best investment so far
