    hey everybody ,have bin out with raptor today , no wind nice day , am still very much learning with it , anyway after having loads of sim time between flying days ,TODAY FOR THE FIRST TIME I HOVER'D RAPTOR SIDE WAYS IN LEFT AND RIGHT ,WOW HOW HAPPY AM I
    awesome heli so stable , next step is to take training legs off
    Raptor 50 , raptor 30 , eflite blade 500 3d, blade 450 3d, spektrum dx7s,
    hitec eclipse pro 7 tx with optima receivers
    Blade 130x with lynx upgrades
    raptor 90 under construction

    take your time and don't rush to take the training legs off

      Keep at it, Raptors are great to learn on - I have 2 of them.
      TT Raptor 50, TT Raptor 30, TT Raptor E550
      Bambucopter Bluebird Tricopter
      Bambucopter Crab Quad
      Modified X650 quad with Ardupilot Mega 2.5 and GPS (currently for Sale)
      HK 250, Blade MSR, Hubsan x 4
      A couple of planks.

        raptors are very stable i also have 2 but must disagree with electrisceadu get the training gear off asap you will find it more stable and you will progress faster

          really want to take them off but dont want to smash my heli making mistake would be gutted if wrecked it , will keep practising landings till im confident enough to not tip it over lol , thanks everyone for well dones

            wether you crash with or without the training gear it will only cause minimal damage unless like me you drop it from 197 ft tail first lol then you will need a new rappy

              you're not ment to go to the roof of a block of flats and throw the model off to give it a crash test

              and yes the heli flies better without the training legs but you need to train the thumbs before removing the legs

                after investigating why i lost control aftr finding all the parts it turned out the battery conectors had seperated which i found odd but im just about finished building the rappy 50 now

                      never say never martin i said i would never crash mine but it had enough new parts to start a shop within the first 2 months lol but i still love flying the things

                        Well done on getting the side-in hovering down. I always found right side in to be very uncomfortable and had to really work on it (I still am actually).

                        I took my Raptor 50 out flying last week after not having flown it in quite a while and it's still just as nice as ever to fly. (and looks great IMHO)

                            Raptors are cool I'm looking forward to flying my borrowed one again

                            I'm still using the training skids on it but that's probably because it's in the back of my mind that it's not mine to crash

                            I think a couple more flights with them and they'll come off
