Hi mate your gonna break it! Go for cheep and chearfull but the gyro go for the 401 or the 240 as this will keep the tail in check while you learn. Also buy some spares like blades . boom. feathering shaft. and main shaft plus ball links etc. All the best

A good gyro is a must while learning, it really helps and you wont go wrong with a 401. Servo wise i'd look at hitec hs-56's or the more expensive hs-65's but you will need to file out the servo brackets to get either of these to fit or you could use the ones recommended by ACE, I think real raptors may sell them.

I started with the standard servos that are made for it. They work fine for a beginner, but definately go for a 401 as the gyro makes it so much easier, after a crash, I put Hi tec HS65HB's on, they are not too expensive and are a little sharper and a little bit tougher.

I started with the Ace 1016(?) servos; they fit the slots, but otherwise not too much to recommend them. One of them moved different amounts for the same stick travel - not a great characteristic in a eCCPM servo! Made it a challenge to keep it in one spot.

I ditched them and went with HS65HB - transformed the handling.

Actually, isn't that pretty much what kwickkwack said? We must be right then...
