mini pred

Hi Everyone,

Hope everyone is looking forward to xmas.
Can anyone tell me what the tx should be set on for a mini pred (the one that comes with it) ie: h or c and the settings at the bottom.

Also any ideas on some good changes to the heli to make it a bit more stable.

And one last thing any ideas on a good indoor small heli to play with.

i have only played with a mini pred enough to know to steer clear of it sorry there are others here that have used them more.

the blade CX2 is an excellent indoor heli

Personally I would dump the Tx and get a decent radio .. a nice FF7 would be ideal and set it up on that .... my Mini pred flies nice and cant fault the thing since I had it ...Not used the original Tx that came with it so cant comment on the settings for it ... I seen someone at the indoor fly one with the Tx that came with the kit and he did ok ..

What about a FUTABA 7CAP/CHP tx would that help me.

i used the tx that come with the mini pred....

crap but did the job... unfortunatly i cannot help u because i have changed all of mine around! lol

but dont touch channel 3 (throtle) an then u should be able to work the rest out by trying the input and seeing if it needs to be reversed or not.

and i dunno wat u mean by h or c?

The setting you need is the H for normal helicopter use. The mixing is done by the heli, not the tx. Hope this helps.

Ive put a trex 450 canopy on mine, no modification was needed. I used the original canopy gromets and glued them to the inside of the canopy. Works a treat. Just thought I'd mention it incase anyone else wanted to do the same. i also have pictures if anyone's interested in seeing what it looks like.

Jez, i'm sure youve worked this out already but the reverse switches at the bottom are left to right: DN DN UP UP DN and it should be on 'H'

I have to agree with that statement, mine went faulty after 2 months. I replaced it with a futaba ff6 t6x and the improvements are endless in many ways. The heli just came into its own once I scrapped the stock tx.

They do a version that has no TX/RX which is nice ... For the money they not that bad a Heli for all the knocking some people do on here ... If it was not for my mini pred i dont think i wud now own 4 Heli's lol.....
