I use Realflight G3.5 Sim & it's okay but most guys on here would recommend that you get the Phoenix sim

I use Reflex XTR which is good but a little hungry on PC resources and (apparently) the physics aren't as good as Pheonix. Pheonix is quite a lot cheaper than Reflex which makes it a good deal

hi, welcome to rcheliaddict. this is the best place to be if your into rc helicopters.

i had a honey bee king2 and it was ok. put the training legs on, take your time and you should be ok.

the best sim is the phoenix but they cost about £80 and you will have to buy a decent transmitter aswell.

ive only got the free fms simulator. i bought mine of ebay though because i needed the usb transmitter. here is a link below
            http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/USB-Esky-FMS-S...QQcmdZViewItem

there are lots of extras you can download from the fms website like planes, helis and photo scenes.

            and
            http://n-old.ethz.ch/student/mmoelle...days=0&start=0

i have over 500 planes and helicopters in my hanger and about 20 different photo scenes. not bad for free (apart from the £14 for the usb trasmitter)

Getting a sim is definately worth the investment. This will give you all the basics of learning to hover right into forward flight and 3D.
I have just taken advice myself on what sim to purchase and been advised to get the Phoenix for its clarity and great detail, because the more to reality it looks the easier it will be to transfer that to the real thing.
Good luck and remember to try and remain calm and patient, it will come and before you know it you will be wondering what all the fuss was about.
A great choice of heli for learning with as well. Don't forget to purchase some training balls, this will help in those times of panic (dropping the throttle stick and slamming into the floor).
              And lastly welcome Victor
UP, DOWN, FORWARD, BACKWARDS.........CRASH !!.........TRY AGAIN............?

They are flight simulators & they come highly recommended as a training aid, have a look at

                http://www.realraptors.co.uk/zen-car...oducts_id=1607

                or

                http://www.modelhelicopters.co.uk/ac...FlightSim.html

for phoenix you need your own transmitter realflight comes with one.

Phoenix costs £80(ish) realflight is about £150(ish)
