AR6200 is fine, however a Ar6100 might be an easier fit (and cheaper). Or even a 6ch Orange RX clone, cheaper still.

If you're not in a hurry then Turnigy batteries (the blue ones) 2200mAh 3S 25C (or higher) from HobbyKing. If you're in a hurry you'll also find them on ebay, or Loong Maxx Tipples or Gens Ace packs from Giant Shark, all are good.

        Recommended Lipos for a 450 are 11.1v, 3s, 2250mah

Personally I would go for these.

Overlander from Kings Lynn Models. £20 ish and good batteries. Not had a problem with mine and you can get them with the appropriate connecter (Deans or EC3) already soldered on.

B6AC charger from same, has built in power supply. Depends what you want really but I find it serves me well. About £45.

AR6115 receiver is nice, real small, too.

Really depends on how you are looking to progress in the hobby.

Something like this will get you started

                http://www.modelhelicopters.co.uk/ta...i-charger.html

The only problem is this hobby really has a habit of sucking you in fast. Before you know it you maybe looking at buying bigger helis that have bigger Lipo's, so may have to upgrade your charger too.

GT Power A-6-10 from giantshark, about £50 I think, or cheaper from HK.
Needs a power supply, converted PC or server PSU works well. The A-6-10 is a 200W charger so will serve well all the way to 5000mAh 6S packs

B6AC is a balance charger/discharger as are most of them. Essential for multicell lipos.

A balance charger is essential, it ensures that all cells in the pack are evenly charged - balanced. Over time the individual cell voltages can get out of sync, this is potentially bad for the battery. In the worst case 1 or more cells can get overcharged which is dangerous.

You can tell a balance charger, proper ones charge the pack via the main discharge leads and have a separate socket or board for the balance plug to connect to.

A balance charger will ensure all the cells in a battery are fully charged and wont over charge the battery, its essential for safety really.

                              Hi
i have a Trex450pro here in UK and one in Thailand and i use the AR6100 RX on one and a AR6115e on the other, they are fine.
For charging you might want to look at the Maxpro X3 Quint multiple pack charger, they charge through the balance leads, you can charge 5x packs in approx one hour or so, the chargers need a 13.8V power supply, maybe the Ripmax Pro peak 13.8V Dual output.
Lipos i use are Turnigy 2200mah 35C packs. ps Turnigy X5 3cell 5 port charger is another make of the same charger. hope this helps...
